Daniel J. Van Sickle

The fourth annual Collegiate Badger Piano Competition was held at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point campus on March 11, 2000.  This year's winner is Daniel Van Sickle, who is currently a freshman, pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance at Lawrence Conservatory in Appleton, where he is a student of Kathy Kautsky.  Originally from Topeka, Kansas, Daniel has studied with Eileen Matousek.

Honorable mention was awarded to Hillary Nordwell from Lawrence University and Haicong Ni, a student of Beverly Hassel of the UW-Oshkosh. This year's judge was Jeffery Peterson of UW-Milwaukee.
