1999 WMTA BADGER AUDITIONS
WMTA conducts Badger Auditions on the third Saturday of May at various sites throughout Wisconsin. Badger Keyboard Auditions were held on May 15, 1999 in Green Bay, Madison and River Falls. Badger Instrumental and Vocal Auditions were conducted on May 08, 1999 in Marshfield. Judges select a winner from each room/site. Winners receive a trophy, additional WMTA points and perform in the winners recital at the conclusion of the day's events. Runner-Ups and Honorable Mentions may be chosen at the discretion of the judge.

The Badger non-keyboard auditions were held on May 8, 1999 in Marshfield. There were 25 participants representing 9 teachers. Students were divided into 5 divisions.
A special thank you to all the teachers who helped make the day a success. We would like to have more teachers become involved in this contest to make the day a more challenging and educational one, where students are able to learn from other teacher's students.
