The local associations
are the strength and backbone of WMTA. Our
members are part of a powerful network of teaching professionals
through their involvement in local associations activities.
Local Associations provide special educational programming,
festivals, and opportunities to meet new friends with common
interests.
Fourteen area
groups and five collegiate chapters are located about Wisconsin and serve as a strong networking organization for
interested teachers.
Monthly meetings
are held featuring an expert speaker and members have the
opportunity to become involved in committee functions and
programs tailored to their needs. The WMTA affiliated
