AURAL

1.  Identify major 2nds and 3rds

PLEASE NOTE:  Each interval at every level will be played above the same tonic, in the range near Middle C.  Each interval will also be played in all three of the following ways:

a.  melodically ascending
b. melodically descending
c. harmonically (e.g., D-G, G-D)

2.   Distinguish between patterns that are played legato and staccato.

3.  Select performed rhythmic example from a pair written on testing using beamed_eighths.gif (135 bytes)
