- Identify all major keys.
- Write the key signatures for the keys of C, F, G, B flat and D Major.
IX. TRANSPOSITION
Octave range melody, starting on tonic, in the keys of C, F, G, B flat and D Major.
X. FORMS: AA, AB
AURAL
Identify 2nds, 3rds, 4ths, 5ths and 7ths played above the same tonic in a
major key.
Identify major and minor triads played in root position (to be played blocked, broken,
blocked).
Identify triple or duple meter (examples to include either waltz-like or march-like
composition which will begin with a down-beat).
Determine if a performed pair is legato, staccato, or both legato and staccato.
Select a performed rhythmic example from a pair written on test, using:
