Wisconsin Music Teachers Association The WMTA Conference committee requests the submission of proposals for the annual WMTA Conference. The Annual WMTA Conference will provide opportunities for music educators to share knowledge and experiences concerning all aspects of music and music teaching. There are two types of presentations: Research Papers--projects that focus on a clearly articulated research question or hypothesis and a clear and appropriate methodology. Research reports dealing with any aspect of music, music teaching, music learning or related subject areas are welcome. Studio/Pedagogy Projects--demonstrate interesting and creative ways of teaching music skills such as harmonization, sight playing, composition, music history, technology, theory, ensemble/chamber music instruction/performance, music instruction for young children and so forth. Topics related to professional studio management/development for independent music teachers will also be considered. A studio or pedagogy project should answer the following questions:
