WMTA COLLEGIATE FOUNDATION GRANT

The WMTA Foundation annually allocates funds for grants to college students.  Grants may be used for any musical activity NOT directly related to the earning of any academic degree.  Such activities might include summer music camps, master classes, pedagogy workshops, state or national conventions.

Applicants must be enrolled as full-time music majors in an accedited Wisconsin college, university or conservatory.  Applicants must be studying with, and be nominated by, a faculty member who is member of WMTA.

Applications should consist of the following three items:

  • A letter of application describing the activity for which funds will be used and the relationship between that activity and the applicant's education and career goals.

  • A current curriculum vitae.

  • Two letters of recommendation, including one from the nominating faculty member.

Application deadline is May 1st.

Grants are a maximum of $200.00.  Applications are to be sent to:
