ANNUAL LOCAL ASSOCIATION DUES:  $5.00

The goals of WMTA-GMC are to mentor new teachers and members and to further our own musicianship and teaching skills through informative and educational programs for our members.  As teachers we strive to maintain the highest standards of music pedagogy.

WMTA-GMC has committed to provide Student Concerts at local Elderly Care facilities.   Predetermined dates are available for members to join with other teachers in presenting their students in concert.  A list of guidelines has been prepared to help you in your preparations and to give you tips in dealing with the facility and its residents.

WMTA-GMC holds three or four meetings September through May, as designated at the annual May meeting held the previous year.  Meetings are held on Friday mornings at home, studios or local places of business and begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.

Meetings are organized under a program of shared leadership.  Each member joins with others to organize, prepare and host a program for one meeting yearly.  Through this plan our local chapter is able to offer meaningful, educational programs of current interest to members.

WMTA MEMBER OF THE YEAR AWARD-GREATER MILWAUKEE AREA

WMTA will annually present a Member of the Year award to honor one member of each local association. Local association members select the award recipient. Awards are presented at the state convention.
