The Rock River Music Teachers Association (RRMTA) began with a group of piano teachers who had been meeting informally in the Watertown, Waterloo, Lake Mills, Jefferson, Fort Atkinson areas.  In 1994 the group adopted a constitution and became a member of the WMTA.  The group meets in members' homes approximately five times during the school year,with frequent guests at the meetings.  During these meetings we have guest speakers, piano teaching videos, a master class and many group discussions to offer support and advice to fellow teachers.

    Special activities for our students have included a Monster Concert in 1996 and 1998 and a Millennium Monster Concert in 2000, a Christmas Play-a-Thon at The Market in Watertown, Musical Fingers at the Jefferson County Fair, and Summer Piano Olympics
